What is Bulky?
Bulky is shipping software for brands that sell big-and-bulky goods. You connect the carrier accounts and rates you already have, and Bulky shows you where shipping is costing you margin, how your carriers are really performing, and where damage comes from. It also connects your storefront and shows accurate, pallet-aware freight rates at checkout.
What's in the free cost audit?
You share up to 90 days of orders and carrier invoices. We look for accessorial charges you didn't plan for, lanes where you overpay, gaps in carrier performance and patterns in damage claims. You get a report with a dollar figure and the fixes worth making. There's no cost and no commitment.
How does Bulky use AI?
Bulky reads your quotes, shipments, invoices and claims and looks for patterns: charges creeping up on a lane, a carrier whose damage rate is climbing, a product that would ship better another way. Each insight comes with the likely cause, a recommended fix and an estimate of what it's worth. You decide what to change.
Do I have to change carriers or book through Bulky?
No. Bulky Connect works on top of the carrier accounts and rates you already have. Bulky Network, which lets you quote and book through our own carrier network, is coming later and will be optional.
What systems does it connect to?
We start with Shopify and your carriers, using their APIs where available or your contracted rate tables. ERP, WMS and 3PL connections are set up with each customer during onboarding. Tell us your stack in the audit form and we'll confirm what's ready for you.
How does pricing work?
Plans will start at $149 a month, priced by how many freight shipments you send. During early access, design partners use Bulky free in exchange for feedback. The cost audit is always free.
What happens to my shipping data?
It's used to run your audit and provide Bulky to you. We don't sell it, and we don't share it with carriers or other shippers. Our privacy policy has the details.
